J. Vaughn Klutts, Sr.

J. Vaughn is a 2nd generation Charlottean and although "officially” retired, he brings the guidance & leadership that comes from a lifetime spent building success. He started his own home building company in 1972 and quickly built Klutts Homes into one of the Carolina's leading new home builders earning numerous top awards from local, state and national Home Builder's Associations. His leadership roots run deep, from being an Elder and Deacon in the Presbyterian Church to being a Life Director in both the state and national Home Builder's Associations, past president of the Charlotte Home Builder's Association, the NC Home Builder's Association and the Home Owner's Warranty Corporation. He was named Charlotte Builder of the Year in 1971 and named NC Builder of the Year in 1975.

John T. Holloway
President / CEO
As President and CEO of Superior, John maintains lead responsibility for the company's day-to-day operations. He holds the professional designations of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Association Management Specialist (AMS) and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) – the most distinguished designation awarded by the
Community Associations Institute .
John has been in management for 18 years with 7 years of HOA specialization. He was formerly a managing partner of Brawley Management prior to forming his own company, Holloway Association Management in 2005. He recently completed oversight of the merger of his company with Vanguard Property Management and Superior Association Management with the combined company now serving over 7,000 homeowners in the greater Charlotte market.
A native Charlottean, John graduated from UNCC with a BS in Accounting. His career in HOA board management was foreshadowed by his having served as President of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at UNCC. He currently serves as President of the Housing Corporation of the UNCC Chapter of Kappa Sigma

Barrett Klutts
Chief Operating Officer
Serving as Superior's Chief Operating Officer, Barrett shares day-to-day oversight with President / CEO John Holloway
Barrett received his real estate license while still in college and joined Klutts Homes upon graduation. He rose to the position of President with primary responsibility in overseeing the company's sales, marketing and production. His leadership took the company to consistent listings in Builder Magazine's Annual Top 400, eventually rising as high as #245 in the nation. Under his leadership the company also received the National Home Builder Association's Regional ACE award for Construction Excellence in 1992, one of only 20 awarded throughout the entire nation.
Barrett's involvement with Home Owner Associations began as that of a builder, establishing HOA's to serve the communities he was developing and building. He has also served on numerous HOA's as a resident member. Here he learned first hand the importance of communication between the management team, the board and the respective members of the associations. This led to his formation of Superior Association Management in 2006 and the eventual merger with Holloway and Vanguard in 2009.
A third-generation native Charlottean, Barrett graduated from UNCC with a BA in Political Science. He led fundraising events for charity and served as chair of numerous committees. He was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity where he forged many relationships that still serve his personal and professional life today (this is where Barrett and John Holloway first met).

J. Vaughn Klutts, Jr.
Vice President
As a member of the senior management team, J serves as Vice President. A lifelong practitioner in the art of real estate, having earned his real estate license upon college graduation in 1985, J worked in building and development with the family business, Klutts Homes, and today heads Klutts Property Management overseeing the Management of nearly 1,000 homes in the Charlotte market.
He is a founding partner of Superior and brings his extensive experience in property management and customer service to the benefit of Superior's extensive client base.
A third-generation native Charlottean, J graduated from UNCC with a BA in Political Science. He and his wife of 22 years, Vicki, reside in the South Charlotte area with their three children.

Kelly Bradshaw
Community Association Manager
Kelly came to Superior as a Community Association Manager by way of the Vanguard merger. In addition to her degree and background in Paralegal Technology, she has fourteen years in customer service and experience as a land development specialist for a major home builder.
Kelly's extensive skill set provides her the ability to offer a first class, second to none experience for her community clients.

Nicole Scholand Foley
Community Association Manager
Nicole came to Superior as a Community Association Manager by way of the Holloway merger. She brings extensive management & customer service experience to the association management industry through numerous years as a Senior Analyst, Planning & Operations with Bank of America in Charlotte. Her HOA experience includes stints as President of her own neighborhood HOA for 6 years.
Fluent in Spanish, she also possesses the ability to communicate in French, Russian and Chinese – and her commitment and ability to translate best practices from general business to association management makes her an asset to her client partners as well as the company.
Nicole received a Bachelor of Arts in 1991 from the University of Buffalo in International Relations.

Melissa Ralston-Wynn
Community Association Manger
Melissa came to Superior at its inception with five years of residential leasing and community management experience. As the company's first association manager she was instrumental in Superior's successful "hit the ground running” start and has dedicated herself to the standards of customer service that set us apart.
With a total of eight years of community association management experience, Melissa holds the professional designation of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA).

Andrea Reichard
Community Association Manager
Andrea came to Superior as a Community Association Manager by way of the Vanguard merger. She has held management positions in both the public and private sectors and was a Founding Affiliate member and Membership Chairman of the Charlotte Regional Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers.
With degrees in management, marketing and accounting, Andrea brings a talented and diverse skill set beneficial to not only the company as a whole, but to every community under her care.

Dawn Beckner
Director of Accounting
Dawn came to Superior through the Holloway merger. With twenty years of accounting and management experience and five years with Holloway she has dealt with nearly every aspect of property management. Even though Dawn's primary responsibility today rests with running the complex accounting side of the company, she also maintains her valuable role as a team player who is willing to pitch in wherever needed.
Exhibiting her ability to keep her priorities in order, she considers her greatest life's accomplishment as having raised three happy, healthy children.
